The Fill Plug seals the media access ports in the Media Tank. Care should be taken that the O Ring seal area is kept clean and free of debris. Also, the O-Ring should be in the proper location in the groove. Do not overtighten the Fill Plug when assembling. When the flange comes into contact with the Media Tank, stop tightening. A 3/4-inch socket is recommended for assembly.
