WaterBoss PRO 380P1 is a universal unit that combines a mechanical self-cleaning filter, iron remover and water softener. Thanks to the technological features of the system, WaterBoss Pro 380P1 is superior to conventional water softeners in all key indicators.
Ion exchange resin
WaterBoss softeners use a monodisperse ion exchange resin with a granule diameter of about 0.2 mm. The “narrow” fractional composition in combination with the small size of the granules makes it possible to obtain a sorption (ion exchange) medium with very low hydrodynamic resistance and high kinetics of the ion exchange reaction. The use of such an ion exchange resin in “conventional bulk columns” is impossible, since standard “slots” at the inlet and outlet of the column have a slot size of 0.5 mm.
