Aquaphor ProPlus 380 is a universal water treatment plant in a private house or apartment, combining a mechanical self-cleaning filter, iron remover and water softener. How the WaterBoss ProPlus 380 system works:
1. A two-section filtration tank combines a self-cleaning filter and a softening sorbent into a single whole.
2. Built-in self-cleaning filter - Aquaphor Pro 380 does not require replacement of modules.
3. The compacted layer of softening sorbent provides maximum efficiency in water purification from hardness salts, iron and manganese ions.
4. The patented flow distributor ensures the flow of water through the ENTIRE sorbent bed, which eliminates the formation of stagnant zones. Allows to reduce the required volume of sorbent and salt for regeneration.
5. User-friendly controller - set the hardness value and time, the controller will do the rest.
6. Emergency valve prevents the possibility of overflow.
7. The control valve is silent and fully automatic.
8. Sturdy plastic housing connects the filter housing and brine container.
Ion exchange resin The Aquaphor Pro 380 softeners use a monodisperse ion exchange resin with a granule diameter of about 0.2 mm. The "narrow" fractional composition in combination with the small size of the granules makes it possible to obtain a sorption (ion-exchange) medium with very low hydrodynamic resistance and high kinetics of the ion-exchange reaction. Construction The ion exchange resin in the Pro 380 is tightly packed between two polymer grids with a mesh size of 20 μm and an area close to the column diameter. Due to this, there are no parasitic stagnant volumes of resin that are not involved in the operation of the softener. Efficiency of regeneration In Aquaphor WaterBoss Pro systems, counter-current regeneration "in a pressed bed" is implemented, which is impossible with free filling of resin due to the floating effect. This achieves significant - up to 70% - saving of salt during regeneration.
